How the „Dare to Feel” collection was created?
For this specific project, I chose to take a different approach than in previous projects. Usually, I make most of the decisions about all the parts of the design. This time, I decided to work with a group of people and based most of the design decisions on those conversations. I’m not gonna lie, it was definitely a challenge to put my own ideas on the side but in the end, as a designer, I am creating products for people, and their decisions should be crucial because they are potential users.
Below, you can look through chosen sketches from the design process of “dare to feel”.

During the interviews, we talked about objects, colors, shapes, textures, places, and fragrances which Millennials associate with intimacy.
This gave me a general idea of what I am going to design. The next step started with some inspirations. At the beginning of any project, I am trying to avoid examples of a similar object to the one I want to design. I usually start from the inspiration from nature, architecture, body shapes, then going to textures and colors. Go through quite abstract shapes and colors gives freedom in design and opens up the imagination for new and unexpected solutions.
I tried to sketch very abstract and unique objects and those which are very minimal and simple to, in the end, find the right balance between those two worlds.
At the final part of the design process, when the base shape is ready, the main focus was on ergonomics and detailing. As is well known „the devil is in the details” that is why I always try to create a base shape quite quickly to allow myself to focus on details for a longer time.
